I can`t open safe in pagan house in mission 1,i`m switching book in the library and safe is not opening.There is problem with my scripts?

I saw Downwinder brought this up on the 2nd page, but I didn't find any solutions:
Many of the textures are pure black. Any idea why? I haven't noticed any other issues yet (but haven't played much, on account of the texture problem).
I'm using the T2 FM Selector, and yes I've installed the scripts and turned off EP (using a semi-colon in the cam_mod file).
Any thoughts?

Are you trying to run it using Thief 2 if so than that would be the reason why,this mission is for Thief Gold.

I played this mission at Hard difficulty.
The guy walking in and out of the kitchen, nearby, had it on him. And to answer your other question,

Thank you found it, its not easy to spot a key under a corpse, in thief 2 they are always visible in the belt corpses.
