Enjoying the hell out of this, but I'm really stuck...
Can anyone point me in the general direction of the key that opens the doors near where you first drop down into the church-type area with the invisible guy? I'm getting a little tired of rubbing this vial of warm blood on everything and hoping for results...

rope up again and search the few AIs in the caves.

What difficulty are you playing on, The Mike? Since you already have the vial, I assume you're either playing on Hard or Expert. Items move quite a bit.

Thanks guys- figured it out right after posting, actually. Protip: whenever you're stuck, make a post on TTLG asking for help and you will be guaranteed to figure things out on your own seconds later, making you feel extremely dense.
This was an extremely creepy mission, gorgeous looking mission (I even liked the extreme darkness, since it actually forced you to use flares for once [note: I still didn't use flares]) I'm just curious, is the extreme darkness really a bug or a deliberate aspect of the level design? I ask because it didn't really effect gameplay...if anything it actually made it a whole lot moodier.
A few things:
1. The invisible monster was a nice touch, I thought. Needing to pinpoint an enemy's location completely by sound was a fun challenge, and every time I screwed up it was a great "OH SHIT" moment. Is there any way to actually kill this guy? I feel like I've left the job half done leaving him un-ghostbusted.
2. This needs a sequel. When I got to the exit I let out an audible "aaaaawwwww...." It didn't feel any shorter than the other FMs in the contest, I just wanted more. :(
3. Is the storyline based on anything? Like a book or an old game or something? I ask, because the lore behind it is extremely badass.

The extreme darkness seems to be something only a few people are experiencing. It wasn't an issue for any of us betatesters. I played without having to adjust my gamma at all and without having any problem seeing anything.

I had to set the brightness and gamma way up on the game settings and my video card to be able to see anything

I just tried to play the mission but it loads "running interference". The mission screen lists the mission as "keepers training" but clearly has all the objectives of running interference with what I assume is "the unseen"
start screen music and footpad rogue and knave difficulty.
I have a clean install using newdark and haven't run into any other mission issue so far. I tried to re-download the archive and uninstall reinstall but no change.
I have the same issue. Does this fm not load in GL with fmsel? Is DL required instead of GL to load this fm?

You should be able to to use Garrettloader but I've heard that it doesn't always work. Your best bet is FMSel, it always loads FMs correctly and you don't need to install it since it's already there with NewDark. Darkloader also works if you do the trick I posted after the post you quoted.
