I finished this one last night and it was simply wonderful. Your ability with city missions, making the buildings feel so tall and imposing while allowing play up there, is really among the best out there. Thanks skacky!

Apparently I've lost my taffing ways. :o Boy do I feel stupid.
I'm playing on expert and I have 2860 loot. I feel like I really know my around, but I'm somehow still missing quite a bit.
I've found and used three keys, including the one that let me into Beric's basement study. I also found the Hammer wine cellar down near the sewers. Yet despite searching every inch of Beric's place, I still can't find Beric's amethyst necklace.
Now reading the spoilers in this thread, I'm apparently also missing an entire Keeper Sanctuary.
So, uh, could someone please provide me with a nice dunce cap and some hints for finding the necklace and the keeper sanctuary? :o
Edit: Okay, found the Keeper Compound. Of course, I only found it because I posted about not being able to find it, right?
Edit 2: Found everything and finished. What a wonderful mission... thank you!

Heheh, I was about to give you a hint but you already found what you were looking for. Thanks, by the way! :D

wow this is glorious!....New dark has given this fab old game a new lease of life, and I am thrilled :)
I took the time to upgrade it with your instructions and its so much better than the old version, which I was having trouble with before this update.
BTW this mission is superb also.Congrats!
I have one question.
in the wine cellar there is a secret door which I never found the switch for,can someone hint where the button or lever is to open it....I did look all round there but nothing
skacky on 25/11/2012 at 17:39
Wine cellar: the switch can be found on the wall facing the secret door, behind a crate under a shelf.

I've got one question about the Keepers in this mission: why do they attack me? Did I miss any readable explaining this?
skacky on 27/11/2012 at 21:51
You are an intruder, and they don't really like intruders. Besides, Garrett left their order and most of them are pissed and don't consider him a Keeper anymore.

I personally would have added an additional goal when entering the Keeper compound, forcing the player not to harm or kill any of them.
Because right now I can *kill* all of them (I know, not the entire order, but everyone inside that compound), but they will still come and rescue me from Constantine's manor later on etc.
But again, it's just a slight immersion breaker and nothing serious. ;)

I could have added an objective, but I dislike restricting players' choices with them. I like to ghost, but I will never add a forced ghosting objective because I know some players like to bonk everyone on the head, so they're free to kill or kabong the Keepers' heads if they want. :p
