Thank you for such a fun vertical FM.
It's a refreshing change from the usual flat mission.
I used garretloader because darkloader incorrectly attempts to install your mission into T2.

I do not use Garrettloader so it's nice to know it identifies the FM correctly. :)
Thanks for the compliments y'all. I don't think this FM is a rival to Disorientation, really. It's still very far from its degree of excellence. I would have liked to put more stuff in the streets but I wanted to get this thing released.
Unkillable Cat: The Power Station exit is just another way out of the Keeper Sanctuary, there is nothing of particular interest there.
Good to know you found the ring, hehe. There's another one somewhere else but it's way easier to find. As for the other piece of loot you saw, I don't recall having put a Hammerite figurine on a windowsill, but I did put some stuff on windowsills that require some acrobatics. :ebil:

This was a true treat to play! It's a rare occasion that we get a TG mission much less one of this caliber! I absolutely loved exploring it and I really hope you'll build more. Thanks you so much! :thumb::thumb:

I think those small gray statues are called Hammerite figurines, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, it's one of those, and it's in the vicinity of the Pagan spy.
Which reminds me: The speed potion. Is it needed at any point, or is it just there for the climbers?

I seem to have a problem no one has: I downloaded from several places, but all I get is to play the first mission of the Metal Age T2: A keeper's training.
Can anybody help me out here? I have 1.19 installed.

Gloria..if you modify Darkloader.ini (changing type from 2 to 1) as mentioned in the first post it should identify as a Thief Gold FM and work.
Sweet FM! Very old school and it's great to have some rope arrow usage although if I'm being completely honest I'd prefer the rope arrow route is a bit harder to spot ;) (being a bit nitpicky there i admit..)

Odd minor issue; I'm seeing white, untextured curtains. At least they don't seem intentional. Using 'Thief Gold' (GOG) + New Dark (ofcourse).
Otherwise, so far, I love the vertical gameplay! New Dark's improved mantling and crouch-off-ladder/ropes only makes things that much more enjoyable too.

A tester reported such an error, I think this may come from your FM loader that perhaps made a mistake during the extraction or something. Noone else had it, so. Do you have any custom texture/object packs installed? What FM loader do you use?
quakis on 19/11/2012 at 01:02
No custom texture/object packs installed. Darkloader 4.3. Reverted back to defaults and reloaded the mission with no change. The wierd thing is, I can see the curtain textures are definitely extracted into the txt16 folder.

Yeah this is pretty weird, I have absolutely no idea what's responsible for this. I'm sure the object isn't corrupt, and I have a vanilla install of TG+New Dark and it works perfectly on it. Do the open curtains also appear like this, or just the closed-ones in the Psychic's shop? (I've used open curtains in a more or less hard-to-reach location).
I doubt changing your FM loader to Garrettloader or FMSel might change anything, but could you possibly give it a try just to see if that makes a difference? If that doesn't bother you, of course.
