The affinity problem shouldn't be there with TFix since New Dark fixes that, so I suspect New Dark didn't get properly installed for some reason since the crash occurs when the FM is launched without New Dark. Make sure New Dark gets installed correctly. If the problem persists, try to load the FM with FMSel. That's the only thing I can think of right now. :/

...yes you are correct, after the fix it doesnt allow me to go to the cores.. but it crashes AFTER the fix (before the fix it crashed from the very start :cheeky: .I will try the FMSel. I really want to get high (up) :cheeky:
ah!! ...what about what DrK wrote about the coping of the .cfr to the .res ? should I do so?

Sorry, I have everything up to date and I've tried everything but I can not play this FM, I always slams the desktop.
I would like to know how to play this fm with " built-in FMSel "'cause I did not understand how it works.
Someone could explain it better? thanks

Hi bluclint,
It's all pretty easy, really.
First of all, make sure you have New Dark installed with Thief Gold. Create a folder named Archive (you can give any name you want for this one) and another one called FMs in your Thief Gold folder, and put darkwalls.zip in it. Then, open a file called cam_mode.ini found in your Thief Gold folder and look for the line ;fm that should be found near the beginning of the file. Once you've found that line, delete the semicolon ( ; ), save the file, and launch Thief Gold. If you followed the instructions correctly, FMSel should launch instead of Thief Gold. There is one last step before you can play the mission: click the Gear icon and click FM Archive Path. Select the Archive folder you created earlier and launch Thief Gold/FMSel again. You should be able to see the FM in the available missions.
If you want to go back to Thief Gold and don't want to launch FMSel again, you just have to add the semicolon on the line ;fm in cam_mode.ini again.

Yes Sakcky, I had already tried to look in the folder ThiegG but there 'no file called "cam_mode.ini", there' only the file "cam.cfg" .... Damn!

hi, i get this little guy, not sure what's corrupted. is there an easy fix or is a reinstall of thief necessary? the guard a.i. are all normal.

What the... Haha, that's weird. Reminds me of the guard in the blooper reel. Is it the only one like this or are all the other AIs in the vicinity like this guy? Do you have Thief Gold or are you using a patched TDP?
