Finished this mission in 2 hr 51 min 53 sec and found 4102 loot out of 5800. A bit of unfortunate start but after this things were getting much better fast as i ascended to the valley.
Great work, impressive architecture, complex brushwork, complex interconectivity between rooms, great use of textures, great creativity and use of objects, great object placement. This mission is much better than the ones in Thief Gold, the atmosphere and old Thief Gold feel of this work are unmatched.
DirkBogan u are a genius! Easily 10/10 from me for this one. I will replay this many times in the future, i see great replay value in it.
I haven't played your first mission yet but it will be the first on my list :)

Congratulations on a very, very fine mission.

Many thanks for this intriguing mission, just a question: are textures meant to be pixelated?
nicked on 30/7/2020 at 11:58
Unless it was an accident to leave the setting on in the config file, yes the pixelisation is intentional - presumably to get that grimy old-school look.

Ok, thanks!

This is a fantastic mission, so well done. Terrific use of height with lots of nooks and areas to explore. I love the architecture and I played this mission very slowly as I did not want to miss even one room. It is one of the most enjoyable missions I have ever played.
Well done. Congratulations to the author.
I do need a hint. I go to the highest point (I think) and found the Skull of MOT, but did not find the Iron Facade. I remember a few floors down seeing a plaque over a fireplace that said "The Iron Facade" but never found it.
Could someone please give me a hint as to where to look for the Iron Facade?
Even though I am temporarily stuck, I absolutely loved this mission.

i stand in the big dinning room and i see the plate the iron facade, i have both skull keys, and i got the skull of mot but what have i to do now?
Master of Dromed on 31/7/2020 at 08:22
bbb and radogoal you have to ascend even further(via the window of a house). The Iron Facade is not in the Supraward mansion, it's in a pagan sanctuary you have yet to discover.

This was an excellent mission that made great use of the more otherworldy aspects of Thief Gold.
The interiors have this shapely, layered and angular feel that requires you to slow down and take advantage of alternative routes and climbing opportunities. Combined with the several shortcut/looping additions, it makes exploring these spaces highly engaging and rewarding. I also appreciate the liberal use of environmental storytelling - from the red ore workshop/mine entrances to the childrens' former rooms and new "prison" cells. A lot of work went into creating the tone and tension between the two families and it's great to see it evolve as you ascend.
My biggest critique would be that the outdoor lighting - particularly the central point light in the valley - makes everything look quite flat and betrays how well many of the building exteriors are constructed. It would have been nice to have lighting placement that highlighted the manor faces and bring out their silhouettes.
Thanks for making this!
