So I was playing through SecMod on Multiplayer - which I realise isn't supported - but it was working pretty wonderfully up until the start of Engineering, when I got the "Waiting for Other Players" bug.
Disabling NV's custom scripts fixes said bug, but I assume makes the mod unplayable, or at least removes some of the fun. And I noticed on SBF that the problem still existed at least a year ago.
Any chance of a fix coming on this?

Hmm, if I recall, this was caused by the system that varies large parts of the game (e.g. enemy speed, health, etc.) depending on your difficulty level.

Er, okay, but that doesn't really answer my question.

I don't know the answer to your question, though. :)
You'll have to wait for TF to answer it.

But but but if you fix it I will bake you a pie.

Mmmh, soft moist delicious cake.

I've tried to hack together a multiplayer-only .gam, see if it works, if not it's probably up to NV to swoop into action and make a .osm without that difficulty script in it.

Note: this isn't a fix, just a gam for multiplayer secmod

If this works I will give you everything ever.
