Textures and photosources!

What I usually do is cut out what I want to texturize in Photoshop, paste that into a new canvas and size it up or down properly. After that I'll go to filters/misc/offset and move it over about 256 pixels, then I'll clone, paste, or do whatever I can til it tiles properly then pop it back to it's default position.

The ol' offset 'n' clone usually works just fine for me, although YMMV. :)
