I don't mind that they won't cover Rockafellers hiring of thugs to murder strikers then his cynical PR campaign of handing out dimes to children to rebuild his reputation or ridiculously crediting Reagan with singlehandedly bringing down the Berlin wall while ignoring his running up of the deficit beyond any other president but leaving out the genius of Jeffersons seperation of church and state makes me want to invade Sunday school classes with math lessons.

I'm surprised the Texans aren't all Mormon if they want to believe in God's special love for America. (Mormans believe God sent prophets to the native Americans, as well as telling the founder where to find some gold disks with all the writings on. Which then conveniently went missing...)

My favorite part, by far, is that the UN is a threat to the sovereignty of a nation that has veto power on the Security Council.

Therefore, because Texans are stupid and ignorant the rest of the country will be pushed even more in that direction, too.
I'm not a 'Texan' having only lived here 8 months, but that is the most ignorant load of bs I have heard in a long time on TTLG there Turtle. Have you ever been to northern Texas? It's sure as hell not the bible thumping gun toting stereotypical right wing nutjob area like areas of Florida and Pennsylvania I've been to. Hell, I know more liberals in Dallas than I knew in PA. Stop being such an ignorant hick.

Yeah me too, especially the part where it doesn't actually say anything remotely resembling that.

(C) Evaluate efforts by global organizations to undermine U. S. sovereignty. JUSTIFICATION
Threats of global government to individual freedom and liberty include the votes of the U. N. General Assembly, the International Criminal Court, the U. N. Gun Ban proposal, forced redistribution of American wealth to third world countries, and global environmental initiatives.

To be fair to Ann Althouse: I have no idea whether McLeroy's amendments were passed or not. That said, after looking through some of the actual text and the rationales for the bill, I have no idea why anyone would want to be fair to Ann Althouse.
