The definition of terrorism is defined by who ever is in a leadership position. And so, these leaders force those who are not in any sort of leadership position to agree to their definition or else! Thus creating a state of terror by two political entities instead of just one: the terrorists themselves and those who get people to fight against the terrorists, i.e. the political leaders.
A case for you, Aerothorn:
In Tacoma Washington, last year, a guy entered the local mall with an assault rifle and took hostages, but not for political gain. The gunman was approached, from behind, by a guy with a conceiled weapon. The guy with the pistol started to aim and pull the trigger then stopped. The gunman turned and shot him five times, but the guy lived. I was discussing this issue with a Tacoma cop and he told me that if the guy, who was shot five times, would have died, the gunman would have been charged with terrorism by the FBI. But, since the pistol guy didn't die, the gunman was just charged with the usual assault and attempted murder and other lesser crimes. So perhaps someone has to die at the very least for terrorism to be called terrorism.
Interestingly, the guy who got shot is a customer at the bike shop I work at, and now instead of buying mt. bike tires, he buys wheelchair tires. The wierdest part is that he seems unaffected, except the wheel chair part, by the fact he was shot five times at nearly point blank range with an assault rifle. Also, he didn't think of the gunman as a terrorist, just a guy with serious problem with an ex-girlfriend or something like that.

Basicly non-governmential armies/combatants.

Serious, huh. Those are "paramilitaries" or "militias". It tells you nothing about their acts though. Then you can see any soldier as a potential terrorist.

Militia's are civilian armies, and aren't paramilitants these guys you drop out of airplanes? If you want to look at acts, terrorists target mindset by seeking symbolic (soft) targets I guess. They want to break the will instead of the military.

And the difference between a "civilian army" and a "non-governmental army" is ?
