Well Bale's wellspring of intensity is going to be the basis of more than just brilliant acting chops from time to time. Right or wrong there are no surprises there IMO.
Also, dance remake 4 the win.

He doesn't have to care about Terminator 4, just nailing the scene, whatever it is.

It makes him look so damn bad but something like this often does take place on nearly every shoot of decent length by the sounds (seen it a few times myself).
It's usually that moment when you've been living in a share house and there's a clash of habits etc and people have been dropping hints and trying to get some sympathy or consideration out of whoever or whatever. One day the opportunity arises to get mad. Then you sorta know you've just got to ride that burst of rage into a one long stream, lay down the law and get your damn way as well as shake up the social landscape in the process.
Hopefully it's one of those.
