Could someone please help me? I have placed a different item in each room, and then gone back to see which lever to pull. I have done this for the better part of an hour, and nothing is happening.

I noticed I get the same 4 rooms in the same order over and over. Two rooms I never get sent to.

This isn't fun any more. This isn't a puzzle, its a chore...

Are you sure you have different items in each room? You never return to a room twice when solving, so keep track of past visits.

I thought that would be the case, so I changed objects, and I am getting the same problem, an endless loop of 4 rooms.

You may be getting sent to the wrong room for the 4th room. Try one of the other unvisited rooms on the 4th try, and maybe you will break out of the cycle.

the cycle restarts when you pull an incorrect lever, so is it possible the fourth room your doing, that youre doing it wrong?

That was my thought, so I put a stack of swords there to differentiate it.

No dice.

Then I tried the other two rooms, and again, it just sends me back to the sword room.

No dice.

So I thouhgt the Room before it was incorrent.

Same deals, no dice.

I don't know, great game, but this is depressing.

Ok, I'm going to make an attempt to remember what order I did the rooms in, so you don't have to bother guessing:

[SPOILER]If you stand with the globe in front of you, you should flip the switches in this order:
5 2
1 4
3 6
[/SPOILER]
