I am doing the quest to retrieve the robe from another member, but she keeps saying that it is not for sale. How do I get it from her? If I kill her, I get expelled from the telvanni. Someone help!!!

If you taunt the npc till they attack then kill them do you still get expelled from the house? Have you tried taunting or maybe pick pocketing?

When you return the robe to Neloth he re-instates you, kill her and take him the robe, i was worried bout this too when i did the quest.
