i havent played deus ex 2, but i'm really exited. could someone please tell me the story of what happens is deus ex 2, i dont care about spoilers.

You live in the US (according to your location) so buy the game and see for yourself. If you've already ordered and are waiting for it, than it's better to just wait and see for yourself.

why wont anybody tell me? it wont spoil the game for me. i dont want to buy the game right now because i have a radeon 9000, and will soon upgrade to the 9600xt. PLEASE TELL ME THE DEUS EX 2 STORY!!!

ok here goes:
[spoiler]Intro: A terrorist detonates a bomb that destroys Chicago in order to destroy a Tarsus
facility which researches biomods and other human enhacing modifications. You escape to Seattle with some other Tarsus personnel.
You're Alex D (male or female depending on what character u choose to be) and your're a student at the Tarsus corporation (I cant remember what you were supposed to be studying...to be biomodded special ops or something). You start hearing explosions in the facility, its under attack by a group called 'The Order'. Your fellow student Billie suddenly discovers that Tarsus is a front and that all the students (including yourself) are scientific experiments and are being observed 24 hours/day. You're told to contact the Order leader so she can tell you the truth about Tarsus. The order believe in spiritual balance and apparrently want to help you to free yourself from Tarsus. They ask you to track down a rogue order general. You find out he was working with another group called the Templars, who believe that all biomodification should be wiped out). You also discover that they planned to collect a shipment of a new weapon developed by a company called Mako. You are asked to stop the development of this weapon as it could allow the Templars to create a very powerful army.
You then have to go find the project leader of the Tarsus experiments. You find out your real name is Alex Denton (big suprise...) and that you're a clone of JC Denton, and so are the other Tarsus students.
You find out that the Order and the WTO are 2 parts of the same group; the Illuminati.
You meet with Tracer Tong. JC and Paul Denton are still alive. JC caused the Collapse (shutting down the Aquinas router) and also merged with Helios. But the merge caused him to go into a coma. Paul is also in a coma due to an incompatible biomod systems upgrade. You revive JC and he tells you about his vision of the future. A mechanism that installs biomods into everyone on the planet via the air we breathe. everyone will communicate together in real time. The world will be run by Helios and JC, listening to the needs of the people every second of the day via the biomod links.
At the end you can choose to either help the Templars, JC, Illuminati, or kill them all and plunge the world into another collapse in which only the biomechanically advanced individuals survive (the Omar).

i heard that you meet JC again. what does his voice sound like? does it sound similar from the first game?

It's the same voice actor, but there are alot of effects in his voice, so the only thing you can really recognise is his slightly cowboy accent. But Paul's voice is exactly the same.
