Ok, with my thief character I just went and picked all the locks in tel fyr. I've just given a book to caiuss cosades called 'the progress of truth', and in the break he gave me, decided to check this place out.
I've not got a piece of armour wort 150,000 gold which gives me 60% resist magic and an armour class of about 160, light armour. I've also got lots of other nice toys, like this crescent blade thingy.
Anyway, what I want to know is - Is this going to spoil the rest of the game for me? Having items this powerful this early on?
What should I do about it? Dump the items?
ps. If it is gonna spoil things for me, then being able to pick level 100 locks should be seen to in a future patch. It made getting these items an absolute doddle. No keys or anything.

Your perfectly fine, as long as you didnt kill anyone in tel fyr. As for the items, the ones you mentioned are just some unique tamreilic relics, they are uber, and if you want a challenge, you may not want to use them... but it wont make too much a difference. You might as well just use them.
