I just killed the guy to loot the armour, (first Mob to put up a decent fight so far) only to get the message saying killing him wrecked the plot.
I was just wondering if they were refering to him curing your disease - I've already done that part, so is he needed later on or can I safely kill him now?

Hrm... if you know for a fact that you won't screw up the rest of the main plot, you can go ahead and kill him. I think doing so fubars the 'alternative' way of solving the game by pissing off Yagrum Bagarn, that's all.

Cool, I think I'll kill all of his daughters this tinme as well, just for the bother if having to go all the way back and kill him twice.. :ebil:

Hmm. The dwarf does not appear at all annoyed with me, despite my nice dadric armour...
I think this might be determined by your rating with him; killing Divayth knocking a lot off it, but a character with 100 personality, 100 speechcraft can easily counter that...

Hrm... that, or maybe just a bug. I remember seeing it hard-coded that if you kill Fyr or his daughters then Yagrum is supposed to go apeshite on you; not sure if it was properly placed so that it'd always kick off though (it's been awhile since I looked).

Ah, I think it might be that it is set to go off if you attack Divayth (not taunt him into attacking you) or his daughters...or, wait, I seem to recall there being some things about the daughters; if you kill Divayth, resurrect him with the console and then calm/charm him, you're fine with him, but if you kill his daughters...he hates you no matter what.
I would fire up the editor and check, but I'm a lazy sod, and I've just had an exam...thinking? No! ;)
