Remember when you go to Tel Arhun and pick up a slave women for the Zanib tribe, well when I first went there I bought a few other slaves and set them free but left a couple there. If you buy a slave, what can the slave do, can you bring the slave back to your stronghold and leave them there or will they always follow you, has anyone tried just having a slave for a while.
Tell me what happens,
Thanks

Slaves are annoying, they will follow you constantly and you can only get them to stay in one place by teleporting away. And even then they will start following you again once you get close enough. (about the distance to read their name)

Slaves are pretty useless. And I use 'pretty' in the way people use 'relatively' (right, so they're absolutely useless, ok?) Setting them free doesn't even do much in an unmodded game.
You have two options depending on what you're looking for:
For a slave-freeing experience, download one of the Twin Lamp mods. Just Google them, or check out Morrowind Summit.
If you want real slaves, or companions, there are a number of mods out there that allow this. I can't give any names, unfortunately, just search for Companion or Slave at Morrowind Summit or similar.
This is all if you have the PC version, obviously!
