my posts weren't specifically directed at him, but represented a successful attempt to troll people into defending the indefensible.
Another one of those amazing coincidences.

Note specifically. You are one of but far from the only poster who thinks that anyone who inadvertantly breaks the law(even for a good reason) should be slapped with the maximum sentence because they were ignorant of it. I do admit that it was directed at a group of people that are a member of, so in a certain sense you are correct in the same way that I might take offense at somebody making racist comments about Italian-Americans.

That's not what I think at all, actually, and didn't see myself in that subset because, quite frankly, I'm not.
You gnashing your teeth about being ignorant about the law in the face of gloriously enlightened intellect sounded a tad familiar and betrayed a bit of your own insecurity.

Or you're just too arrogant to realize that you were (and are) being baited.
Rug Burn Junky on 29/12/2009 at 00:47
So basically, you're saying that you're a troll?
Yeah, you sure told me.
Gingerbread Man on 29/12/2009 at 01:48
Well, that's all I need. The culmination of several weeks of increasingly assheaded behaviour is the shocking admission that CCCToad has been deliberately baiting Rug Burn Junky. My mouth is agape, my eyes are a-gog, my heart is a-flutter, and we'll see CCCToad next week when it's 2010 and we don't play that sort of stupid playground shit anymore because we're all grown up.

Actually, I thought C³T's postings had gotten more reasonable of late.

Just a random question: Would anyone take advantage of a person with little technical knowledge? For instance, let's say someone with little idea of how to take care of a computer damages their Windows install with bloatware and other garbage and decides that their computer needs to be replaced. The computer is fairly new and decent. Would anyone relieve said person of their "useless" possession if offered without saying anything other than "thanks"?
