I have looked around TTLG and not found a better area so here goes. I have been lately experiencing 2 oddities in Morrowind. One is that when I first start loading the game, it takes a verrry long time to get to the first splash screen. Secondly, Morrowind has lately taken to shutting itself down. Afterwords I get the MS error message asking me to send a report. I have done all the usual fixes, chekdisk, defrag, upgrade the video driver. Has anyone else run into this and had any luck fixing it. I am running a PC 4 with 1 Gig RAM and a 128 MB video card.

Yeah my friend is also having problems with the things you have mentioned. He's not really sure why it is constantly shutting down on him in certain areas and stuff. We just figured it was the mods that he had on. But it still seems to do it even with them off. Morrowind just seems to do that every once in a while for no apparent reason. I have the Xbox version and it will freeze up or something stupid, but it happens very rarely. Just make sure to keep updating your save so you don't lose anything.
