Under 25 seconds on the racetrack! :D

It is possible to get under 20 seconds if you start modifying the track and doing fancy car-switching maneuvers, but this is a pretty good clean run.
And yeah I also found that the car is noticably faster if you remove the spoiler. It's hard to remove more than that without significantly damaging it tho.

I did it, I completed the TEARDOWN.
These are the last couple missions before the final mission:

The final mission (which ends on a "To Be Continued" since this is still EA) was unexpected and delightful and I'm not gonna spoil it.
This was a good game tho! They've managed to wring a good bit of variety out of this very impressive tech sandbox. Any good heist story is as much about the set-up as the execution, and that's true here as well, and it really delivers on that heist-feel.

How difficult is it? Is it one of those games where getting through the levels isn't necessarily all that difficult but you can always try to get better, faster, more creative?

I think except for the Fine Arts mission mentioned earlier ITT I've managed to get all the objectives quite easily. It's quite slow and ponderous. As long as you think things through in the planning phase, you don't need Amazing Gamer Skillz to get through the execution phase. :)

I haven't really thought about Teardown in a year, but it keeps expanding and evolving in interesting ways. Here's a trailer for the next big update:

That snow looks VERY snowy.

I thought I posted in this thread earlier. Anyway, I've been playing a lot of this over the last few weeks. It's great! I like that it's actually really laid back for most of it while you're setting up a run, or some of the missions that are just flat out simple destruction missions. You can take your time & solve the thing like a puzzle of your own making.
And even when you do get to the run parts where there's the time pressure & frantic running & jumping... it is intense & you get a rush, but actually by that time it's not really frustrating. You usually have a solid plan worked out by that point (that works well within the time limit), you start at your own pace, if you fail you start over without missing a beat, maybe tweak a few things to make it go a little smoother, and after a few practice runs, you'll even get the muscle memory to fly through it.
The guy that designed this thing really had some good thinking about how to pace a game to keep it fun.
And of course the whole kind of absurd tone, storytelling, atmosphere, offbeat humor, all of that is great.
Three cheers for it from me.

Playing Teardown again, just did the (revamped) Fine Arts mission, only one so far I haven't been able to perfect. Managed to steal 4/6 paintings. It's fun looking up on YT later how the pros do it, this was a good vid, including bits of the setup as well:

Ah, what a fun game! I finished it a while back, and streamed it on Twitch fully. Got all the objectives on all missions, including the fine arts one and side missions. Good stuff. <3

Finished Part 1 (again). That finale is as epic as ever! :D
On to part 2, and the new content I haven't played yet!

Ok I'm a few missions into Part 2 now. The introduction of robots turned a few of the levels into stealth missions, which works okay in this game, I guess, tho it's not where its strengths lie. After a few more exotic mission types I was glad when the game got back to its bread and butter: a regular 60 second smash n grab mission in the mall. This one was fun.

Oh and that HURRICANE level, holy shit! :D I tried to look it up on YT but instead found this vid where someone modded hurricane windspeeds into lots of levels and... wow. It's rare that a game's visuals make my jaw hit the floor any more these days, but dang.
