No, because it IS the right thing to do. Fuck moral and cultural relativism. Human rights are good. That's as close as you're gonna get to a universal truth.

see what I did there?

No, just people whose minds have been brainwashed by the same poisonous meme, Islamism.
Just like you've been brainwashed by your "universal human rights" memes

Human "rights". Hmmm. Interesting Yakoob. I'll play.
What gives anyone these "rights" SD? Have they earned them? Why should they have them? All people are not equal. This is clear isn't it? These medieval nitwits are not equal to you or I are they? Should they get the same rights when they behave this way and so encroach on the rights of others?

I'm so glad I deleted my post about Hume. This'll be way more entertaining.

So make up your minds people. Do I get to cut babies in half and wear them as hats as long as I can convince enough countrymen to enforce it on the rest of the country or not? God said it was okay. Really, he told me to throw you all in jail for not respecting my relativism but I'm cutting you some slack because I respect your culture.

The basic problem with Yakoob's argument is it utterly collapses the moment it goes from concept to reality.
Also, I certainly don't look at Muslims as "idiotic fuckwits," as this barbaric case is far from representative of the religion as a whole.

Actually, I think the basic problem with it is that whenever he runs into someone who disagrees with him on that point, Yakoob's supposed to sit there, shut the fuck up, and take it. After all, his moral relativism has to prohibit him from passing judgement on anyone else, be they a band of 12th-century barbarians, military dictators, or TTLG posters with immeasurable thighs.

5. PACIFISM The majority of pacifists either belong to obscure religious sects or are simply humanitarians who object to the taking of life and prefer not to follow their thoughts beyond that point. But there is a minority of intellectual pacifists whose real though unadmitted motive appears to be hatred of western democracy and admiration of totalitarianism. Pacifist propaganda usually boils down to saying that one side is as bad as the other, but if one looks closely at the writings of younger intellectual pacifists, one finds that they do not by any means express impartial disapproval but are directed almost entirely against Britain and the United States. Moreover they do not as a rule condemn violence as such, but only violence used in defense of western countries. The Russians, unlike the British, are not blamed for defending themselves by warlike means, and indeed all pacifist propaganda of this type avoids mention of Russia or China.Orwell weeds around the issue of moral relativism in this essay. Don't take my word for it, go read it.

Actually, I'd say on the contrary. Our world is all about the survival of the fittest, morality is so easily bendible it's silly to even claim it a universal truth or law of any sort.

Not sure if this is sarcasm, but in case not: Why does moral relativism prevent me from having opinions?
