not necessarily, a stubbie is usually a certain size of bottle, the VB stubbie is just the most iconic
True, why I just drank a
stubby of Bundaberg Ginger Beer yesterday and it wasn't in a VB bottle, but y'know, leave it to the expat to explain that. That and pots. Always fun explaining pots.

Pots are always the smallest of what's on offer.
PigLick on 16/10/2006 at 13:37
No one in WA calls them pots you weird bastards.

Apparently a pot in WA is the same as a schooner everywhere else

A schooner is a sailboat, stupidhead.
Tocky on 17/10/2006 at 03:21
So that's why I get so drunk.
Hioncoffee II on 17/10/2006 at 04:43
A pot is usually 8 or 10 ounces depending which state you're from.

You know what? There is no Easter Bunny. Over there, that's just a guy in a suit.

Banky Edwards: Alright, now see this? This is a four-way road, OK? And dead in the center is a crisp, new, hundred dollar bill. Now, at the end of each of these streets are four people, OK? Are you following?
Holden: Yeah.
Banky Edwards: Good. Over here, we have a male-affectionate, easy to get along with, non-political agenda lesbian. Down here, we have a man-hating, angry as fuck, agenda of rage, bitter dyke. Over here, we got Santa Claus, and up here the Easter Bunny. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first?
Holden: What is this supposed to prove?
Banky Edwards: No, I'm serious. This is a serious exercise. It's like an SAT question. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first? The male-friendly lesbian, the man-hating dyke, Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny?
Holden: The man-hating dyke.
Banky Edwards: Good. Why?
Holden: I don't know.
Banky Edwards: Because the other three are figments of your fucking imagination!

Well that's clearly wrong because a schooner in SA equates to a midi in NSW/Queensland. A pint in SA is equivalent to a schooner in NSW. And a pint in NSW is usually closer to the real deal imperial pint.
