I originally intended it to be a locked safe but for some reason the door isn't hinged properly. Nothing to see here . . . move along . . .

I remember I never found the glasses in the last one, you mentioned they are difficult to find. Are they the ones on the table near the sitting room or is there another pair? Also, just noticed - the Chalice stays in your inventory after you've used it.

Those are the same glasses. Originally they were underneath the two books on the bottom shelf (difficult to frob since they were too close to the books). Heh . . . sitting room . . . the room names are getting more specific & now I know which rooms you're talking about :D & I know about the chalice . . . I did try to fix that . . . really I did . . .

The first thing I thought when I walked into that second sitting room was that it would be a great place for a snooker table. :)

I found another bug! Just fixed it:
If you don't find the mages (pre-"corners" in the northeast room) before you release them then the objective of finding the three mages do not get cancelled. It'd be weird to release the mages only to find them again when you go back :weird:
BTW does this mission seem linear?

Of course it's very difficult not to make a mission somewhat linear. Multiple overlapping objectives/sidequests can give the illusion of non-linearity though. Incidentally, I did find it a little odd that I had to burn the tree before being given the eternal flame objective even though both rose from the same readable.
On a related theme, I also kept trying to start the unbinding ritual without having completed the sleeper quest. You'd have to either prevent the player accessing the unbinding ritual until the sleeper quest is finished, or allow both quests to be completed in parallel. The second method would actually help with the linearity but you'd have to make sure both quests are complete before allowing the painting to be frobbable.
One more suggestion while I'm here - make the master bedroom door locked and pickable. The tension trying to pick the door before the statue spots you might be quite nice. That doesn't help with the above though.
Are you sick of me yet?

I could make it locked & pickable on hard or expert & no I'm not sick of you yet ;) I value your feedback :thumb:

I decided this mission is going to keep evolving. Due to the constantly changing discoveries and tweaks in the T3Ed forum and the having new ideas about how this mission is played.
Cool, although its got to have an end to it.
One thing I have noticed about this mission is that its very experimental (which is good) and can see it being used as a reference mission in the future due to all the scripting and concepts in it....now if only we can work out how to get the file size down ;)
Also only 2 mins of downloading left.... :D

Played through this now, got 84% loot :( ...although I know where the rest is...
also I could not get the glyphs to work with the moving platforms?
Much improved though :thumb: , music was spot on for outside definately, not so sure about the entrance hall music though might be better elsewhere (I think some creepy music by the
zombie
would be great too).
