erm...
I woke the sleeper...I dropped a bottle on his head...he told me to "watch it", its not supposed to do that right?
I was trying to make it look like he had had a lot to drink so I started putting the bottles on the shelf around him, one hit him and he jumped up.
I should make that objective completed then :joke:
"Read the spell or do it the quick way . . . get him drunk!"

How is performance in the room in the second screenshot? What kind of lights are those?

Performance isn't too bad (not as bad as the outside or the throne room). Inside the editor it's worse. I really didn't want to disable shadowcasting on most of the objects or the mood of that place goes down the tubes :p I accommodated the shadowcasting by turning off most of the shadows in the other rooms & seperating the displays of the weapons & stuff. Namely the room to the NW (that was horrible performance-wise) because you have a glass door that looked into this particular room.
EDIT: I see you edited that post. Those lights are a combo of regular omni-noshadows & spotlights with omni-noshadows underneath the objects so I could simulate reflective light.

Thanks! I had an idea a while ago that I thought might be useful to you, but if you need the shadows then it won't really work. Basically I was going to suggest faking the lights with with a projecting texture, like so:

Inline Image:
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5637/gestaltfakelights0wv.th.jpgThere are only two lights in the picture above (one FL_SpotNoShadow, and an FL_OmniNoShadow to light up the room), but one of them is projecting a texture designed to look like 16. I thought it might be a useful hack for when someone absolutely needs a lot of lights but can't afford to take a big performance hit. There are problems, of course (the lightgem, for one), but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
Edit: It looks better when you line up the hanging light smeshes correctly.

Yeah, alignment would be a pain. I don't think the performance hit is too bad for me to use that trick. But it's a damn cool trick (I think it's worth a tip in the wiki).

Right, played through it once and tried a few things, but here's what I've written in my notepad. A lot of it is suggestions and cosmetic stuff rather than bugs, which is most certainly a good thing. Spoilers ahoy then, and in no particular order:
* Misaligned lamp in tower near birdbox
* Restart screens (from the load menu)still don't work - briefing, difficulty etc. and restart button itself.
* End chairs in the dining room are facing the wall instead of the table. Are these for people with bad table manners?
* Typo: in the plant book, facsimily -> facsimile
* Last sentence in the plant book doesn't scan - "The alternative to..."
* Make the plant un-pickuppable
* Loot in the display case should be set nearer the wall as it hangs over the edge of the shelf.
* Upside down display case "loot" chimes when picked up
* Any reason for the loot glint on the Hammerite corridor door and gate?
* Desk in W. corridor bedroom is backwards. They'd bang their knees.
* Add a chair to the desk in the E corridor, NW room. Do you have a desk, Scott? ;)
* Maybe a guard tower should have slits instead of a window so they can fire arrows?
* Picking up the kitbag doesn't emit the "object collected" sound
* Chalice usage isn't consistent, but I think you probably already know this and are working within limitations. What I'd like to see is "use" the chalice against the fountain - instead of being thrown against it, it should disappear and drop into the fountain with a splosh. Then you collect it, and frob it against the statue to complete the objective.
* What is the secret behind the cupboard in the room opposite the library? Never got it last time, didn't get it this!
* Two of the notes are titled "Unbinding Ritual" in your inventory
* Binding vs unbinding terminology is inconsistent
* Maybe you should be able to pick the front door? Once you've got in, it's just an annoyance to complete the chalice quest if you haven't found the front door key.
* Torches in the pagan area for that "authentic touch". Sort of like a shaker kitchen.
* Chest key hovers about 1mm off the shelf (pedantic? moi?)
* The chalice chest opens into the wall
* That apple is just a little too good for you
* The scary chair should be the one the ghost was sitting in
* Some ivy on the walls outside the mansion to break things up a bit
* The window ledges in the secret corridor (part 2) are floor-tiled
* The transporting glyph back to the front gate made me curse you heartily on the way in
* The transporting glyph back to the front gate made me happy on the way out

Hear Hear...that ones driven me mad trying to knock the cupboard over...find switches and even throw things behind it to see if I hit a hidden switch.
The apple also makes a drinking sound, but then I don't suppose there is an eating sound available.

Crap! Not at you guys  I made some fixes & when I try it out on a regular install it does not run
Anyway . . . thanks for the feedback and now I get to kick the crud out of T3Ed once again. Why does this happen after every release?
WTF? "No Enter Mission Info Object Found", "Failed to find triggerscript file TS_5271" - never had one!
