First impressions are WOW
Seconded! The rooms are looking much more lived in. A few still need a little more colour and differentiation, but on the whole this is a fantastic job. A lot of great surprises too, like the new inventory and note system. I've been just looking around for an hour or so, and noting down any ideas/problems (all minor) - haven't even awoken the sleeper yet. Once I'm done I'll post the list.
Incidentally, I've climbed down the vine a couple of times and not had any problems.

ascottk, just working on a slight change for GL so that it picks up T3 extras better (like scripts, maps, etc):
* Are all maps going to start with HDMAP or is that just what you called it?
* How can you tell if there are new sounds? (wav/mp3 files or some other format)
* What are the file extentions for scripts?
* What are the file extentions for objects? (not sure if these will only be in the ibt file though).
I am already picking up new graphics via the mlb (matlib) and dds (direct draw) files and the gamesys by "t3gamesys.t3u".

It works with Garrett Loader 1.11.
Where do I get this? I have GL1.02 and is has never worked for me. I get something about an object not connecting. I can't remember how I managed to play Townhouse but that is the only T3FM I've been able to play.
What do I do with the T3Main.exe?

T3 looks for anything in the textures\dynamicallyloaded\HDMAP_* (at least for the xbox). it's in the default.ini.
It also looks for sounds in the sounds folder (*.wav or *.ogg). I have yet to add any custom sounds though. Or *.csc for the meta-schemas.
Stand alone scripts are not necessary since they are in the ibt(s). But they have a *.tsd.
Objects? Like static meshes & such? Static meshes would be *.tim, skeletal meshes (and associated files) *.psk, *.pro, *.rgd, *.ski (SkeletalMeshes directory). *.pan, *.psa, *.sai (SkeletalAnimations)

GL 1.11 should be (hopefully) out tomorrow. The T3Main.exe needs to be in the system folder & I already included it with my fm (I put that in the thread just in case).

Well I'll wait for GL1.11 then.
T3Main.exe goes in my T3Game/System folder?

Subjective Effect, yep, the one from my site is the editor version renamed. This needs to replace your original version in thief - deadly shadows\system (back yours up first though).
For GL version 1.11, I have a couple of help images to replace, a couple of file types to add for checking,a slight tweak to allow the french help files to be used instead of the english ones and the database to reset before packaging it up and releasing (that will take about an hour to do tonight).
I will add a new thread to the fan missions forum and see if I can get it to be a sticky one (as it should now be fully stable and able to play 99% of FMs straight off.
ascottk, cheers for the file type info, I will add it in for the check boxes.

Scott, a semi-showstopper to bring to your attention: after waking the sleeper, I had to locate the spell of unbinding. I'd already collected that note, and now I'm stuck with the objective unfinishable. I think this was the same in the previous version but because the note wasn't an inventory object you could just re-read it from the desk and the objective would tick. Possible solutions: a secret compartment in the upper bedroom triggered by awakening the sleeper, make the paper unfrobbable same as the sleeper's ritual, or lock the bedroom door and make key appear on bed where sleeper was laying.

Oh man! I realized that when I was testing but I forgot all about it! Another solution is to have another condition for when that paper is in inventory. So if this happens & you have to find this but you already have it then objective complete. I'll add another download of just the maps after I get a chance to fix it..
EDIT: Fixed for the next release (official?)

erm...
I woke the sleeper...I dropped a bottle on his head...he told me to "watch it", its not supposed to do that right?
I was trying to make it look like he had had a lot to drink so I started putting the bottles on the shelf around him, one hit him and he jumped up.
