Hmm...I don't think so. I just went through and checked all the guards. All were knocked out, but none of them had purses. I realized my count was off though, I only have 10 out of 11 pickpockets in my list. Yet I have no idea where the last one is. Where is it you think I'm missing it?

My little birds tell me it may be in the church.

You were right!! I think I actually found that purse the first time around, but had to reload and must not have picked it up the second time. That's why I never put it in the list. It was literally the only body in the entire map I hadn't double checked after you said it was on a guard, lol.
Anyways, thanks again for an amazing mission and for all the loot help. :D
I will start ghosting this one in not too long.

I've been playing Thief for ages and somehow never played this mission before. I just finished it and I have to say it was jaw-dropping. Besides the obviously impressive architecture, what I liked about it was the challenging AI situations (metal/tile floors, close proximity, etc) that which meant that not every situation was an easy blackjack like you get with a lot of missions. Also I enjoyed killing the guild members that were out to get me. I never kill anyone usually but these clowns deserved it! They ended up in the canal. Funnily enough I finished the main objectives fairly easily early on (I basically stumbled upon them), and it was a really pleasant experience just exploring the rest of the map after that. I only finished with a pathetic ~2700 loot but I look forward to playing it again. Really, really well done and this is Thief at its absolute best, no doubt.

Thank you very much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the mission!

A lovely mission, open city crawls are always close to my heart, and this one is truly excellent!
I'd like to ask for detailed help with a few things:
- The secret in the Blexham library. I know that one of the bookcases must open, since it looks different from the rest and make a sound when you thwack it with your blackjack, but I can't find the switch or button to open it with. I've searched the entire room with gamma set to maximum, but nothing.
- Two of the three valuables stolen by magpies. I've found the bracelet, but not the other two. Where exactly are they? For anyone looking for the bracelet: get on the roof of the Hammerite church, you can easily do it from the balcony of the priest who also has a scroll on how to open a certain safe. Go around, look for a small part of the roof which is at a lower level, so you have to drop off from the "main roof". The bracelet is there.
- I've found the tribute collection place :), but this thread suggests there's also a "How did you get up here?" location. If so, where is it? I guess it's a crating challenge, but this is a big map.

On the 'starry night' ceiling in the little study with a desk.Magpie loot: My lootlist (that I made during a replay) says:
- Ring: Hammerite Church, in magpie nest on the outside (eastern side) of bell tower
- Diamond: Magpie nest on beam outside apartment on Church Way, just N house with rent threat note. There is a table and chairs where people have gambled below this beam.

Thanks! (Sorry for the late reply, life has a way of cropping up.)

This is an absolutely fabulous mission! great architecture, lots of life in the texts, plenty of rooftops to explore...
I'm suspicious I'm missing a hidden area in Blexham manor: there appears to be an abandoned tower, judging by the bricked windows and boarded doorway to what might have been stairs .
is that accessible somehow, or just some wear and tear?

Thank you! Unfortunately you can't get in this condemned section.
