Thanks, Mike. That did it. I enjoyed the secret area and the scroll. That hint was easy enough if you know what you are looking for, but somehow I missed it. Evidently most players got it the first time, so I blame myself.

Actually, we're impressed that you got so many on your own, and the one you missed was probably the hardest one to get. And my impression is that most players haven't found all the chess pieces, so you're in the minority. Cudos for completing that puzzle.

Okay, the bad things first.:ebil:
I managed to repeatedly freeze the game at one point. I was playing v1.1 on easiest difficulty level. During the spooky scene in room 13, I blackjacked the invisible being in the bedroom. When I took the orange key from the table in the next room, I could hear "Come back!", but then the game froze.
When I used the sword instead of the blackjack, or when I just fled the room, there was no freeze at this point. Tried these variants at least twice to make sure it was not a random coincidence.
By the way, I noticed I could hit something invisible with my blackjack in Room 7, somewhere between a corner of the bed and a wall corner, near the ceiling.:weird: Sounded as if I hit something made of cloth. I noticed no other effect of that, though.
Apart from my "spooky problem", though... great visuals in both missions, and a nice story being told.:thumb: Like others, I would have preferred a map, at least for the hotel, but managed without it anyway.
However, in mission 2, fun went down considerably from the point when I met Elizabeth in the circular blue room. Almost everything that could possibly go wrong after that did go wrong somehow. The "magic ladder" leading down in the "pool" was only visible from a certain angle for me, and it was almost impossible to catch the "magic ladder" when jumping towards it or letting Garrett fall into its direction. I also did not get that Elizabeth meant "my bones are in the room direcly below this one", but thought she meant "my bones are somewhere on the floors below us", and searched almost the whole winter wing two times until a post here told me where I really had to go. I admit, though, that a peek at my newly appeared objectives would have told me what I overlooked. But hey, a real man doesn't have to read objectives, right?:cheeky:
And when I searched the winter wing then, I thought I was stuck, for when I went up some crates, opened a hatch there and plummeted down the chimney, there seemed no way to get up to Elizabeth, or out of the wing ino the main hotel anymore... until I accidentally hit the double doors I went through earlier in the hospital part of the wing with my sword. The doors sprung open again, although they had not been frobbable anymore after the encounter with the "black wall" in the corridor behind the doors. Maybe these doors should be made frobbable again after the "black wall incident" in a new version of the campaign?
Still in the winter wing, there were several holes in ceilings and/or floors which were so small that I frequently had severe problems getting through and not falling to death. Several times, climbing on ropes would suddenly throw Garrett up or down one or two meters, sometimes even skyrocket him to his spectacular death. Maybe these holes should be made larger, I'm not sure.
Then, I did not see Elizabeth's reward for all my trouble the first time I made it through. The torc had appeared about a meter above Garrett's head, and did not fall down. Another post here told me where to look for it, and then I finally saw it. Maybe it should appear at the bottom of the fountain instead of hovering above it?
When the stones fell down while fleeing the winter wing, Garrett could get hurt a lot or even instantly die when he ran and touched the stones already lying on the floor. It did not happen when Garrett sneaked and hit the stones. I think the stones should stop being so lethal when they have finally come to rest on the floor.
Last complaint: In mission 1, it should be more clear where you have to go at the end.
Do not misunderstand me - there were enough "good" things in the campaign that made up for these problems, but maybe they should still be addressed once a new version of the mission comes out. Sometimes, these small things can build up a lot of frustration.
Anyway... thank you for this mission, it's one of the best of the ones from the contest I've played so far!:D

Thanks @baeuchlein and caqo! Thanks also for the detailed feedback, baeuchlein.. some of this we are working on, but you discovered a bug we hadn't seen before (the room 13 knockout glitch). We are relieved you caught that one before our final release!

Can't get out of sealed wing-- So I found the lever, talked to Elizibeth, got her bones, I went EVERYWHERE no way to get out out sealed wing, everyone says go the the crack in ground by big tree, I did this Garret will not fit down it.. I've tried 1000's of times. probabaly a good thing looks like a long fall. Very beautiful mission, but bug ridden. a lot of places garret gets killed from going through smalled areas, rope arrows in tight quarters, and so forth. I love big mansion missions, this one is not hard, just frustrating.
a lot of time was spent on the architecture no doupt.

Can't get out of sealed wing
Look for a hole in the floor that wasn't there before the quake and rope down.

Can't get out of sealed wing..
It sounds as if you haven't
finished the ritual yet. Have you dropped the five items in the fountain in the conservatory yet? Only after you complete the ritual will that hole in the floor by the tree open up. If you have already completed the ritual, then you should be able to put a rope arrow into the edge of that hole and climb down. If you still can't get down after completing the ritual, send me a saved game so I can see what the issue is.
Also, there are other ways to get down to a lower floor in the sealed wing, you don't have to go down through narrow holes in the floor. Look for
rooms with fireplaces.. you can use the fireplaces to descend or ascend from one floor to another.Lastly, you say the mission is bug-ridden, would you mind clarifying? We are aware of a few issues already, but we would be happy to hear what else you might have found.

I am in the winter wing. I threw four things into the fountain (top level) and they disappeared in water. Nothing happens. No Elizabeth at all. When I enter one of the rooms in hospital, the moving dark wall appears and it kills me.. I have no idea what to do.
Tannar on 28/1/2019 at 23:16
So if I understand your post, you haven't met Elizabeth yet, right? If not, I wonder why you were dropping items in the fountain. You first need to meet Elizabeth and get the objective to drop five (not four) items into the fountain. In order to meet Elizabeth, you need to get past that area with the moving dark wall. At the far end of that hallway, there is an open doorway with a practice dummy standing in it, blocking your way. That is the room that you need to get into. There are two possible ways to enter it. First, when you see the wall start moving toward you, run toward it about halfway down the hall, then return to that doorway and the practice dummy will be gone. The second option is to hit the practice dummy with your sword a few times and it will disappear. From there, you will find a series of rooms that should lead you to a pickable door. Behind that door, you will find Elizabeth's tower which you must climb.
