Can't get out of Burnett street.See no way up to al-Asri.I tried roping up Mortesaigues and Weir,but the rope arrows are two short.1 1/2 hours now running through the streets.Been to a few other nooks and crannies but none get me to rose garden.

No Chance to get to Rose Garden from anywhere I've been. Was in Mortesaigues mansion,and on the roof...dead end.Been through the skull door, up and down dead cat alley. Helped Pud. Above a balcony there's a wooden beam (a tree trunk). Rope arrow needed. NNE-direction, Mortesaigues I think on the map

I just finished this after 3-4 hours (the timer said somewhere around 2 hours, but that's a lie). I really liked how vertical it was, but I did find navigation a problem since the path forward wasn't always the most obvious. I found the engraved skull and its receptacle completely by accident while I was trying to figure out where the Rose Garden was, so that was a bit of a strange experience. All in all, my only complaint is the difficulty I had finding the way forward most of the time (which would have been far worse had I been ghosting). That was helped significantly once I used the master portcullis lever, though.

I've got Haskell's stuff and rubbed the plate, but nothing else yet. Have not been to rose garden or rang any bells.
I'm on the balcony of Grandmauden building, overlooking the water. I can't find any way inside the place. Did I get there too early? If not, how do I get inside?

@Haplo you got there too early. You need to get to Rose Garden and then carefully read the instructions left for you there.

Thanks. I finished the mission, but didn't understand the story at the end. Bernalt dies, but what happens to the golden books, etc?

@Haplo Not every job Garrett takes ends up being successful, and this is one of them. Some forces in the city - such as those protecting the golden books - are too powerful to be messed with, so looks like Garrett won't obtain the books this night. At least, this is my understanding. :D Maybe Garrett will pick up the books' trail again someday... ;)
