It will
lead you to a very well-hidden secret. You'll need to hunt a bit around where it takes you though.
[spoiler]
Got it, turns out mine got broken somehow and pointed to the wrong direction. Spent like 30 mins poking around the wrong area :)
Had the thought to start a new game and that fixed it.

Seems like something's not right with your install then. In your Thief directory, there should be a subdirectory that TFix created called "OSM", and squirrel.osm and various other important files should be in there.
In addition, your cam_mod.ini should have a line reading:
Can you check if both of those are the case?
Found Squirel.OSM in my directory, but no line in the cam_mod.
What order do I put it in? This is my current load in the cam_mod.
Mod paths
; ---------
; the max path count is 63 for "uber_mod_path" and "mod_path" combined
; (avoid an excessive amount of paths, it can make file handling slower)
; these are mod paths that override the active FM in the search order
;uber_mod_path mods\UpToDateOSMs+MyGemMod
; these are normal mod paths which are applied after the active FM in the search order
;mod_path MyBowMod+.\TexturePack
mod_path usermods+hdmod+hdmod\t2skies+patches

Damn, really struggling with loot on this one! Done everything else though.
Is there a reason the painting in the manor can be righted?
Also, Is there any way to activate the huge lift next to the hammer place?
Searching everywhere, clambering on everything, managed to get out of bounds at one point but still struggling!
Really enjoyed the plot though.

The richest place for loot is probably
the manor. There’s several easily-missed pieces in the bedrooms, and a number of wine bottles stashed around the house. Also, in case you haven’t found it already, there’s a stash of coins worth 150 hidden in the Hammerite Sanctuary.Quote:
Is there a reason the painting in the manor can be righted? Yes: because it’s hanging askew and looks better when straightened. Unfortunately it doesn’t want to stay straight. Also,
Is there any way to activate the huge lift next to the hammer place? No.

Wow, this mission is amazing. Many times I stopped to watch how the city looks. Especially the view from top of mountain near the tower is mind-blowing. Riddles are interesting and story is great. And this is compliment from person that really doesn't like city missions. Good job.
The only thing weird for me was hearing sound from Maw in Lady di Rupo Manor.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

hearing sound from Maw in Lady di Rupo Manor. If you have finished the mission:
maybe the sound makes more sense now? It's a thematic hint to her allegiance.

Finally completed this! Really loved it.
In the end, managed to find: a gold plate in the washing up, a gold nugget under a plant in the cemetery, and a ring and bracelet in the caverns under the catacombs. This just got me over the requirement for expert though so there must be lot more loot.

the sounds of the Maw are from cave under tower, but still hearing them exactly in the mansion is weird. I'm surprised that guards didn't freak out and escaped the mansion yet.

OK I'm stuck.
How do I solve the horns puzzle in the mausoleum? Garrett said he had to read something, but I've been running all over the place and I can't find any reference to it. I've cleaned out the Hammer church and the mansion, but if any of the readables I've found there hold the solution, it's too oblique for me.
