Hi Azaran; presumably you have grabbed the "Warehouse B key" [spoiler] for entry to the forge area you have to go a roundabout way (at ground level though) near to where the final objective to exit the mission is found [/spoiler].

I also couldn't get close enough to get those [spoiler] chests to frob [/spoiler] either ; I presume they are merely added decoration?

About those chests in the Mages' Guild, they are indeed accessible. They are not for show. Here are two hints for them.

1.) For the left side that has a door next to it, you may want to look outside of that room for clues (next to it and above it).

2.) The one on the right is a bit tricky. Has something to do with the courtyard with the fountain in the middle of it.

I've tried this one for the second time, but I have to quit. Again
It's a beautiful mission!!! :cool: :thumb: But as much as there were enough shadow spaces on the streets where I could hide, as less of them are in the guild.
I've only 5 moss arrows and the guards see me when I'm hiding in the dark.
I'm playing on Normal but find it very hard to move along in the guild.
I can't get into the guard barracks nor the library for the same reasons.
The tiles are loud and there's almost no place to hide from the mages and guards.
I'm sorry I have to quit.
Perhaps sometime it can be made a bit easier to play.

I managed to finish this, didn't find all the secrets, but I'm proud to say it's one of the few GORT missions I was able to complete :D. Very crafty puzzles and build, getting a high rating from me

I got through the first mission in ROTB 1, but the next part brought me to my knees...the guy knows how to make tough missions haha

For that button
It rotates one of the statues so you can proceed to the Hand of Fate.

I have completed all of the objectives except for the first one. I have a scroll which explains how to get I to the mages' guild and I read it but objective 1 didn't complete. Is there something else I need?
