Forgive me if this has been asked already, I didn't find it when I looked. I recently got me a laptop with Windows 7 on it and I'm trying to install T: DP. Every time I try to install, I get a message saying this:
"This product cannot be installed on Windows NT due to a Microsoft DirectX(tm) limitation."
And, of course, it ends the installation if I hit okay.
Anyone know what's going on and how to fix this?

Balliol: Have you read this (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75031#install) FAQ? Windows Vista and 7 are very similar, so I hope that the method described for Vista will help you as well. Just one little suggestion: please, do not install Thief in the default folder (C:\Program Files) - this will cause some problems in the future if you will try to patch the game with DDFix/TafferPatcher/WideScreenMod and so on.

Yes, this is the Windows NT error check, which is bugged. Since all versions of Windows since 2000 are based on NT, it applies to all Windows since then.

Ah! Thanks for the help! Wasn't sure if Vista and 7 were similar enough, but that clears it up.
