as you start the mission, in the first building at your left with the beams on the -once existed ceiling,- when I rope up to see the highways available (if any) I just find all the town's roof textures missing...very surreal but not useful for a thief. Is something wrong with my installation or download or you are simply not supposed to use the roofs to move around?

Hey Nightchild, That's a bug / exploit. I plan to fix it in the next version so the player won't be able to rope-arrow their way out of the map.

I'm playing the game for the first time, and although DarkMod will never be my favourite game, it's weird to control, and the atmosphere is more depressing than Thief 1-2 was - but this map was something fantastic!
I couldn't find a written walkthrough, so I'd like to ask, there was a secret peeproom high up in the bath house, with a secret key in there - what does it unlock?
If anyone is still here and remembers old quests:)
