Tarantino goes Helter-Skelter

Apparently Quentin Tarantino is working on a movie about the Manson murders.

I'm not sure how I feel about him tackling a true story. If he does it the Tarantino way it could easily become inappropriate to the subject. And if he doesn't, then what's the point of him making it.

Yeah, thats maybe too in-living-memory for his trademark lurid style (and like you say, if its not lurid its not a tarantino movie, really). I have enough respect for him to hear him out though. Maybe he wants to make something a bit different this time round?
