I lost the note in the little lock box for the Imperial quest to find the Talos Cult. I raided this shrine earlier in the game but I can not find the note anywhere. I'm pretty good about keeping notes and odd objects but one of my trunks in my home ate all the stuff I stuck in it and the note prolly went with bye-bye. If you know the menu code for the note please post. Thanks. :)

I already had the note in my house in Balmora, and it wasn't lost, I did take it with me when I met with Darius. For some reason he wouldn't take it when he ask for the evidence. I ended up clicking on land deed, got that task complete, then he took both the deed and the note I thought was missing -- I already had the deed...so... all I had to do is go get it from my house. Something is amiss tho. I dueled with Varus Vatinius already but now Darius is tell me to go see him next. Everything seems to be out of order.

Darius says I'm a bachlor knight but my journal says, " I am now the Knight of the @Imperial# Dragon of the Order of @Ebonheart#." Because of this, I'm not real sure what to do now since Daius says to see Varus Vatinius for advancement.

Hrm... this is what you get for screwing around, man ;) What's your rank now? If it's not Knight of the Imperial Dragon, reload to before you duelled with Varus. If you don't have a save game before that, do what Legion quests you can (if you want to) and then use the following command until you're at the top rank:
PCRaiseRank "Imperial Legion"
(Note that the quotes are neccessary)
Beyond that, consider your quests w/ Darius foobared. And ignore what's in your journal re: your duel... that's for people who play safely ;)

I did more quest in the Legion for Frald the White and Llaalam Dredil but neither one will advance me any further. Frald the White said I was promoted but it's not listed in the journal, save fore my journal saying I'm Knight of the @Imperial# Dragon, everyone still says I'm a bachlor knight.
Trying the code hack to up my stats.
