Why yes, I now know there is an app I can download. The little popup window told me so. And no, I don't want to install it. So of course I click 'no'.
Now, is there any way to to get this damned thing to quit popping up to let me know there is an app I can download EVERY TIME I TRY TO GO ANYWHERE OR DO ANYTHING ON THE FORUM! STOP! STOP!! STOP!!! AAAAAAGHGHG!!! forcing me to constantly tell it that I don't want to install the app?
I'm new to owning an Android phone...and not very smart about the things.

You mean the Tapatalk app? It should only show up the first time it thinks you are a new visitor to the forum. Do you log in each time you visit or have you asked the forum to remember you?

Yeah, that's the one, Al_B.
Ah! Okay, it's only doing it repeatedly if I don't log in--which will cause it to pop up non-stop.

Do you have cookies disabled in the browser (also, which one are you using)? That's really the only thing that should cause it to pester you on every page - when you get the message the first time it should store a small cookie which it later detects to recognise that you've already answered the question.

Nah, the cookies are turned on. It's whatever browser that came with the phone...a Samsung Galaxy Prevail running the latest Android version.
Oh well. I'm truly not that worried about it, since I doubt I'll be visiting the site on my phone--too damn small to read, and my fingers are too damn fat to type.

The tapatalk app makes it easy to read.
What android phone do you have? Get a swipe keyboard app if you don't have the Jellybean one.
