Does the talking Mudcrab move from his island? I was planning to try to bring him home and I was over encumbered so I sold him a bunch stuff that I did not want to part with just so I could move. While I was trying to figure out which way to go, a cliff racer attacked the mudcrab so I ran over and killed the cliffracer. When I looked down, the mudcrab was gone with my stuff! I checked around but could not find him.

The cunning little blighter-looks like he pulled a fast one on you.
He got his pincers on your stuff, then used the cliff racer diversion to cast a recall spell and make his getaway. By now he's probably sitting in a tavern in Vivec selling your favourite weapons :cheeky:
Seriously, though, he shouldn't normally move from the island.....you sure he didn't make a run for the sea or something? They can be hard to see if they're under water.

Or he could have fallen into the void!!! Try typing RA into the console (if you are on the PC).
