Taffers who play Deus Ex. - by Cobra189

I KO everyone (except the bosses) using the lowly but trusty baton. This includes all troopers, commandos and MiB/WiB. Commandos require master skills in lowtech weapons. MiB/WiB require combat strength augmentation in addition to the lowtech skills. The secret is to sneak up behind them crouched, and whack them in the small of their back (just above the butt). They all go down on the first whack every time. Note however, that they must be in a totally relaxed state for this to work - i.e. If they are alerted to your prescence and currently searching for you, they are NOT relaxed and may not reliably go down with one whack. You must also be right behind them as close as you can get (for some reason they can't feel you bump up against them!)
The only ones you can't get in one whack are those seated in chairs. You can't get em in their back while they're sitting down and you can't get close enough to hit em hard enough in the back of the head either. In these situations, I use the riot prod once to get em standing up shivering in shock, then finish them off with the baton or prod.

Bah just whip out the Dragon's tooth. For anyone too lazy to do what ridgerunner mentioned. :p

True the Dragon's Tooth is a wonderfully fun and useful tool for smashing bots, cameras and locked doors and such, but MiB/WiB tend to BLOW UP when you slash them with the blue blade! And often times they are carryng something you want so you must take them down non-lethally to rob them... thus the baton (or prod) comes to the rescue!

Same here; those bastards deserve no mercy. :ebil:

Damn right they don't.
I can't believe any of you have sympathy for the MJ12 commandos. They've got friggin' rocket launchers for arms or something. The deserve to die. DIE!!!!
 :ebil:
Ahem...yes....Anyway.
Besides I needed the riot prod ammo when they came along.

Just got Dues Ex, after I get some more dromed work done, I'm going to meet the mole people. Been trying to avoid enemies, but I havent gotten the hang of stealth action yet, it's hard when you dont have a light gem. I do have an assault rifle however!:sly:

To be a true taffer, only use the traq darts and energy prod -- and if you must be lethal, use a silenced sniper rifle.

Nay Falcon
To be "A TRUE" taffer, thou must only use the baton and prod.
