check your T2 folder for crash.dmp, if it's there, zip it and upload somewhere, and post the link.

Unfortunately there isn't a .dmp file.
*EDIT: I created one through TaskMan but, I don't think it will be helpful.

I got a new gaming laptop...so stoked.
Installed Steam Thief 2, then Tafferpatcher 2.16 with Enhancements and the game does not load it crashes to the desktop... :tsktsk: :mad:

It's in the Thief2 folder but no crash.dmp.

it dies right before it goes to the exe location. have you tried to move the install to some other place?
