First of all, it's
core_1, not core1. Second, check the product version of Dromed.exe. If it was installed by TP 2.1.2, its version should be 1.21. Third, the texture palette (Alt+T) Should look like this:
Textures that come from the mod should have a letter "M" under their thumbnail.
Thank you for the reply. I know that it's core_1, (

I am sorry I didn't mention, it is dromed2 or 1.21. There is no "M" mod textures. If there is a file that prevents re-installing the enhancement portion of TafferPatcher, let me know Voodoo. I just want to install that portion and get those new textures.
This is my darkinst.cfg:
Code:
;cd_path E:\
install_path .
language english
resname_base .\RES
load_path .
script_module_path .
movie_path .\MOVIES

Actually, the 'M' shows up only if the texture has a .MTL file associated with it.
@voodoo47: I wasn't aware of needing to delete T2 water until I played Sensut's
Exile. What about T2skies and NTEX? Are there any redundancy issues?

skies should be ok, but don't install NTEX if you are going to use EP2.

The only things that I can think of that can prevent mods from being installed are:
1. Read-only attributes on config files (TP should show an error every time it tries to write to a read-only file).
2. Restricted user access to files or folders (mostly same as above, but I'm not sure every access error would be covered with an error message).
3. Some bug that never surfaced before.
The enhancements, including textures, should be installed in MODS folder and they should be registered in the
mod_path string of the
cam_mod.ini file. Your darkinst.cfg seems OK unless you've selected "Complete Resource Fix Pack", then the resname_base string should contain .\patchedres folder in addition. All other mods should be in cam_mod.ini.
I'm afraid I have to ask you to start TP again with the parameter
/LOG=TPLOG.TXTThis will create a TPLOG.TXT file in TP's folder which may shed some light on what might have been wrong with the installation process. The file will be about 200kb, so you'll have to upload it somewhere so that I could read it.

I tried to record a walkthrough of mission "Life of the Party", but for some reason the game break Garrett's life only because of one blackjack's hit, why (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztTFM-T8Ssc) :o ? I don't understand this case - blackjack is from time to time prohibited? It was recorded with Thief 2 1.21 (Tafferpatcher was installed with all accessories).
Has anyone experienced this?

he probably had just one hitpoint left after fighting the guard, so the 1hp blackjack bop had actually killed him.
Constance on 27/7/2014 at 14:08
Also, why didn't killing that guard with explosive frogs stop the mission at 3:22 ?
voodoo47 on 27/7/2014 at 15:08
because it's the frog that has killed the guard, not the player. this is a well known cheap way of bypassing the no kill objective.

When blockjacking is active, would be possible to skip mission's stop - using blackjack by normal mean = 1 HP of damage, blockjacking = 0 HP of damage. What is better, what is worse? I don't like Garrett's end in this style. Why? Because in my game style saving the game would be prohibited.
Worst case scenario - total time of my game is 5 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. And I was not able to get 6 hours, 00 minutes and 00 seconds :( .

no idea what are you trying to say. anyway, blockjacking will not work if you are using the overhauled maps and gamesys, as it has been removed, if memory serves.
