Yes it does.
Version 2.1.2 contains AM16's Thief2 Fixed 1.1e exactly. Installed optionally, of course.

Thank you, sounds great!

Hi,
I installed Thief 2 from my old CD's using this Tafferpatcher. I suppose everything went fine.. game is running on 1600x900 res, but there are some problems that have prevented me from enyoing the game fully:
The mouse acceleration in the game menu is messed up, it seems to be almost 'swimming' or sth, all in all it's VERY different from what I experience when working in Win 7 OS, for example. When I go to a mission, it seems a bit better, but entirely sure if it's supposed to be like that. Definitely not in the menus. How can I solve this?
The HD mod and everything else for Thief: Gold has raised my expectations for Thief 2 as well. I know Tafferpatcher has some stuff to make the game look more beautiful and everything, but still some objects are the original low quality and I don't know about ALL the textures either. Anyway, what kind of updates (if at all) can I still add besides Tafferpatcher to improve the look of the games? I installed the latest beta version, just to let you know.
Thanks!
zil :)

If I understood correctly, Tafferpatcher is for Thief 2 what TFix is for Thief Gold - essentially a technical update.
If you were expecting a texture update, like HD mod for TG, then you will have to wait for Gecko to finish the HD mod for T2 he is currently working on. I'm waiting too, by the way.

Ok, thanks :) That seems feasible and all clear. Any ideas about the mouse thing, though? I don't have this in TG..

Never had such issue on any machine/OS. I tried to turn on the "Enhanced cursor precision" but it made its movement somewhat equally frustrating both in Windows and in-game. No in-game settings affect the cursor movement as I'm aware of, except maybe commenting out
single_display_mode string in cam.cfg. This will switch the menu back to 640x480 and the cursor will move much faster.
For visual enhancement I'd suggest (

Okay I did that. I guess it's all good now! Just one minor bug is that in Shipping and Receiving.. the water around the ship outside keeps appearing and disappearing, so I see it flashing back and forth and for a split second it shows the bottom of the sea there just like that, without any water. And keeps repeating. I tried to reinstall the Tafferpatcher thing (including the water patch), but to no avail. :P

sounds like a conflict between T2 water and EP2 water. if you are using EP2, do not install T2 water.

I installed a fresh copy of Thief2 for the purpose of editing. I used TafferPatcher_TMA_212_beta. While fallowing Nick's "Absolute Beginner's Guide to Creating a Mission" I noticed after loading core1 textures they were the old textures. I installed all enhancements from TP. I went ahead and installed TP again. Still, old textures. What am I missing?
Thanks Homefrys!!

First of all, it's
core_1, not core1. Second, check the product version of Dromed.exe. If it was installed by TP 2.1.2, its version should be 1.21. Third, the texture palette (Alt+T) Should look like this:

http://s4.postimg.org/mj0j2pbql/Dromed_Palette.pngTextures that come from the mod should have a letter "M" under their thumbnail.
