no idea what do you mean. maybe the bloom/hdr stuff that can be enabled in cam_ext.cfg?
It has more to do with Bloom light trailing effect that I cannot seem to find in NewDark.
Similar to this effect in DDfix:

To clarify, that is (obviously) not a shot from ddfix, but trailing is demonstrated for example in this old video (at 1:50): (

Do you know a good example? :)

I have to admit that I don't. ENB Series is usually mentioned at this point, but I've never used it myself.

Yeah there's ENB Series, but I don't know if it's been updated to work with NewDark. From what I recall ENB Series worked with DDFIX + Thief.

only the (beta) dx9 version, if memory serves.

Just did a virgin install of T2 using the latest Tafferpatcher, went on smooth as silk :)
Even got this new fangled FMSel thing to work
Truly you are a saint in human form and worthy of a pint or two if you ever get to Sheffield :thumb:
-- EDIT --
One thing, I copied/merged the installation CD's to a folder on disk for installation, do I need to keep this ?
sNeaksieGarrett on 5/1/2014 at 15:53
right you are voodoo, it has to be the directx9 version of ddfix. Forgot about that detail. I think it was from 1.1.1 onwards it switched to dx9 from dx6.
edit:
esme, no you don't need to keep the install files on disc, unless you want them for backup purposes.
