Wow, that's odd. Did you install tafferpatcher into your steam copy in program files, or did you copy your thief install into a different directory?
I don't own the steam version of thief 2, but Ive heard that you should copy your install into a different directory outside of steam.

intel strikes again. disable multisampling in cam_ext.cfg (add ; right before multisampletype).

I was running it from Libraries-Documents-My Games-Thief 2
Voodoo's solution fixed the problem. :D

Thanks man, glad to have that problem fixed! Hopefully I can get everything else I want added to it without anymore problems.

I know that Tafferpatcher does a great job and everything but I'm a bit worried. Since the current version patches T2 to 1.19 does that mean that previous saves on the 1.8 version of T2 won't work with 1.9?

they should work, but a mission restart is recommended, just to be safe.

Hello,
I own a copy of Thief 2 via GOG.com thought I'd ask you peoples, I just noticed when I was reinstalling Thief 2 (the GOG version and then Tafferpatcher on-top) that I now have two Thief 2 exe's in the directory, "Thief2.exe" and "Thief_ND.exe". The GOG install creates a desktop shortcut for thief_ND, but Taffer creates one for the regular one.
Just wanted to know which one I should use for the purposes of wanting the upgrades in Tafferpatcher. Is there any difference between the two?
Thanks.

the duplicate exe can be ignored.

The ND one?

they are identical, so any one you prefer. I will let the GOG guys know though, this is confusing so it should be fixed.
