Glad to see new (to me) & exciting things for improving the Thief experience! :thumb:
From what I'm seeing, my best bet would be to make a fresh install of T2 from the disks & update that, correct? I have old ones, but they've all been previously tweaked.
Also, will any multi-core issues be fixed with Tafferpatch? Or do I need to do that separately. (6 core pc)

clean install of T2+TafferPatcher and you are sailing, nothing else is required (as stated before, that's kind of the point).

Welcome back Pav... Just put your T2 disc in and run Tafferpatcher as your install program and it should take care of everything, including multi-core fixes and the new 1.19 patch. You'll also have the option of installing various graphical patches and fixes as well.
Use Tfix or the same effect for T1/TG.

So, it really IS that easy! Thanks, y'all. I better get started then. I've got a ton of great looking FMs to catch up on.

I installed the 1.19 patch onto a fresh, clean Thief 2 install yesterday, before I became aware of Tafferpatcher. I reckon it will work fine, but thought I'd ask Justin Case: Is there any likelihood of dark clouds forming on the horizon if I install Tafferpatcher on top of a clean Thief 2 v. 1.19 install?
Kudos for making this patch, BTW. Much appreciated.

if it's really a clean, new install with just the raw 1.19 patch applied, I wouldn't be afraid to use TafferPatcher on top of it.

Any chance of this being updated to include the 1.20 update?
Im planning on burning a disc, and it always seems that updates for things come out after I do that. lol
