until the updated version of Tafferpatcher is out, the easiest way would be using Tafferpatcher, and installing the NewDark package on top of it. that should be all.

Nothing else changed. The Toolkit still contains some quirks and workarounds which are obsolete or redundant in 1.19 (like light_bright, DS12, etc.), so one should read the documentation carefully and modify the installation if needed.

Dj, great work again. Works well so far, having played through the first mission without any issue. I couldn't get bloom going though but will read up on other 1.19 threads before asking any questions.
@sneaksie, good to see you still prowl round these parts. Btw, we exchanged some pm's a few years ago regarding FMs.

I installed a fresh install of Thief2 using ver. 2.0.5. In the "Completing the Tafferpatcher Application" screen there is a "Thief2 Test Launch" option. I clicked this and got the following error:
Unable to locate or load d3dx9_43.dll
Should I try to find this file or just update directx? I have DX11.

Yeah, but I had already done that even before installing using tafferpatcher.
