If I understand correct, then TP allows to install multiple instances of Thief ?
If so, then I could dig out my german Thief CD and install it via TP.

Good news: The german translation is on its way!

OK, apart from that I spend some time to play around with TP and would have a few suggestions:
In order to reduce the number of screens one has to click through once TP is installed, it would be nice to allow the following:
- skip the license screen once TP is installed
- allow to skip to the screenresolution and DDFix screens rightaway. I guess quite a few people revisit these screens from time to time to get things working as desired.

Some minor issues:
- shortcut-keys in the various screens are visible no sooner then you have pushed the ALT-key once. So Add initially looks like Add and does not indicate that there are any shortcuts availlable

Darkinst.cfg Editor:
- Delete/Edit are always enabled, even if no entry is selected
- The initial selection on whether to use absolute or relative/absolute paths is not selected. But I assume this works as intended, though.
- Duplicate values that refer to the same directory for the same setting could be removed (E.g loadpath .+.)
- Question: does it make sense that it is allowed to add / edit / delete languagues (E.g. language english+german+whatthehell)?

DDFix 1.5.5 does not work for me at all.
The menu, etc. looks ok. But when you are in the mission, the entire screen is just plain white.
The sound works and you can move and hear your steps, but nothing can be seen.
This happens for both FMs and original missions.

I had an issue with DDFix 1.5.11 as well with a mission that is currently in beta.

It's a Windows setting AFAIR. It must be on one of Desktop Settings page, near the Menu Effects (slide, dissipate, etc.).

Well, as they doesn't affect anything negatively and can be easily seen in the list and deleted, so I'm inclined to not restrict user this way. They may want to add a duplicate entry and then edit it manually, adding a folder which don't exist yet for example. If such folders appear after some mod was added or removed then it's a bug that should be fixed of course.


Of course it does. You can add all language-dependent resources from your German version to English one, then use language german+english to switch your game to German while still using English files if German ones are absent (English-only FM, for example).

As for other features mentioned, I'm working on them now.
