Nice work, Dominus! I just wonder what those big towers are in the background? I always thought that Angelwatch is the highest building in the City.

Fantasy exaggeration I guess, I find it usually appealing (like with overly high buildings in "medieval" cities, or very steep mountains, but there is a strange feeling about distance in fantasy that I have, noticed it a few days ago when I checked the LotR chronology after watching the Hobbit...anyway). Although you're right about Angelwatch, though. A bit of Rutherford Castle would have been nice, too. But the most important question is: Where can I find the high-res version for my large widescreen monitor at work? :D

Heheh, I knew the towers in the background will bring some controversy among the taffers :)
I must admit it was a purely aesthetic decision, the towers are not in South Quarter area, they could be anywhere in another part of the City, maybe Angelwatch is not the only tall building after all :)
I hope a
(http://www.pandemoniumart.net/wp-content/South-Quarter_Wall_1920x1080.jpg) 1920x1080 wallpaper is good enough :)

The centermost tower echoes a bit of the Clocktower fiction, that it's tall enough to be seen in Auldale across The River, and we know from the movies that The City generally slopes uphill from the Ocean and River in all directions as far as the eye can see through the smog. We haven't seen in-game a tower as tall as seen in Thron's concept/promo art, or as large as in some cutscenes. The license you've taken doesn't blatantly break established precedents overall, and hearkens to Thron's early inspirations he drew from, too.

I agree Jtr, I've always loved Thron's initial city concepts, something more overgrown, organic and borderless.
intruder, sorry, that's the only one :)
