My Wacom pen went missing in a move :( . Over the course of looking for it, my tablet...looked gross. It didn't function anymore :( .
*sigh*
So, I am stuck with the mouse.

*Cough*, well here's my fanart, if you can even call it art...

I started out by drawing a horse, and before I knew it I caught myself drawing wrought iron gates and purple walls. :tsktsk:
Sorry for the size of my image, this was the least I could resize it to.
P.S.- That's a member of the staff in the background.

I don't have anything to add, but I do have a rather important request.
I sent a PM and an email (at least, I think I sent the latter) to Silmuen expressing an interest in commissioning a larger version of "Garrett, the True Keeper" which I would have enlarged and printed for framing for my personal collection, but haven't had a reply in a few weeks.
If anyone knows how I might contact him, or if someone could do so in my name by other means, I would appreciate it. As I told him in the message, I'm perfectly willing to pay him for his time, as I have cleared a spot on the wall, which will go next to my soon-to-be arriving interpretation of "The Man on the Tor" (from The Hound of the Baskervilles) done by FeloniousDrunk of the SomethingAwful forums.
He (or someone that is acting as intermediary) can contact me via PM here, or by one of the following emails.
sherlock at sherlockholmesarmy dot org
doctormidnight at wsu dot edu
I can pay any way he wants (money order, cashiers check, paypal, taffer blood, loot, etc.)
Sorry for having to post this here but I REALLY want to get this up on my wall :)
Edit: I got in touch with HER today, looking forward to getting this up so my grandparents will hopefully have strokes when they see it and think I'm some sort of Pagan.. and not the earthsies pagans.

Anyone seen this concept art of Garrett before?
Inline Image:
http://www.guru3d.com/gamereviews/thief/Garrett%5B1%5D.jpgI found it while reading a Thief Gold review (
http://www.guru3d.com/gamereviews/thief/index.shtml) here. I was going to start a new thread but thought, nah, everyone's probably seen it before (except me). I stand behind my conviction that LGS intended Garrett's face never to be properly seen, partly to keep the mystique, partly to allow each fan to have individual ideas of who he was/what he looked like, but it was interesting anway. Hope someone sees this :)

Mmm, yeah, I thought it was fan art =). Though I agree whole-heartedly on LGS never really wanting Garrett's face to be seen fully.

Which is why I have a
big gripe with ISA and Thief 3 for showing Garrett's face, in 3rd person view as well as in cutscenes. Not to mention they used horribly low-poly models and Garrett looked like one of those crash test dummy mannequins :p Grrr... I felt so angry at that, at them having the seeming contempt of the mysterious persona of Garrett. It's up there for me with load zones and no rope arrows :nono:
