For those who have seen Chobits... How about chi as an avatar.
Shes about as monosylabic as our good friends goggles

Now I'm actually tempted to go through with it, as soon as I can determine what will irritate people the most.
I think what would irritate people most is you wasting your time on something like that in the first place.

Looks like a vote for "all of the above", Merc.

Like people
really have a say in what we waste our time on.
Counts as a vote for all, I say as well!

Haha, you guys :D
Here, try (
http://rapidshare.com/files/69709213/blarg.zip.html) this out. Just unzip it to your SS2 directory and then go start a new game and get to medsci.
DON'T LOOK INSIDE THE TXT16 DIRECTORY UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN THE SURPRISE CAPSLOCK CAPSLOCK

Haha, new denizens. That's really funny! Ah, the memories...
I have a question concerning the new weapon models, though.
On my machine, they skip a little when the player is moving, as if they couldn't keep up with the general frame rate.
Is that an inherent problem with model replacement or could it be due to my machine? (A not too slow dual-core with 2 GB of RAM under VISTA.)
Anyway, thank you!! Fantastic work!

Argh, not another VISTA vexation again... but then again, maybe skipping weapon models are a feature, not a bug.
BTW, good to meet you here, ZB. Just came back from a long absence and installed all the new goodies to be found here - including SHTUP. Awesome!! Thank you!
Thank you to all you skilled guys (and girls?) for the new graphics (sorry to stretch the thread topic a bit...)

I've noticed that even the default weapons skip whenever you change directions...as it restarts the bobbing animation and the effect can be rather jarring at times. You may have not noticed it until now as the replacements are coming under greater scrutiny than the normal ones.
Or maybe my guns are to blame D: I dunno
