Glen W. Bell Jr. passed away in his home in Rancho Santa Fe, California on Saturday evening. He was 86-years-old. In a statement published on the restaurant's website, Taco Bell says farewell to this great man.
Bummer. Does it make me a bad person to hope that they have some kind of a special to honor his memory?
That said, I do have to say that Taco Bell has a place in my memory Since it was one of the few places to eat where I went to school, and since it was the cheapest place I've eaten more than a few bean burritos from him. Can't say I think his death is significant though, since he hasn't actually owned the company for years.

Yeah... A nacho-platter with extra chives really says something about a man's life.
And I hope they bury him in that stupid hat.
Sorry, but corporate "food" should rank up there with bestiality and slow torture with a cucumber.

Eh, sometimes, there's a few chains I've enjoyed. Can't really argue with a scoop of ColdStone Icecream.
If by "corporate" food you mean Fast food, I agree.

This man was like a father to me.

Dave Thomas' death was sadder.

May he be remembered for his glorious creations- the cruncy taco supreme, the gordita, and of course, the chalupa, which I think is probably the best drunk food I've ever had.

Why is it that everything you say is wrong?
Long live the Chili Cheese Burrito (w/sour cream)!

Because I studied under a chef for 10 years and know how to cook? I know what happens in fast food restaurants and choose to stay far, far away. If you knew any of the facts about fast food you would as well.
Please tell me how any of that quote is wrong, btw. It is factual and what isn't is opinion.
