You'll learn the purpose of the holy water later...
When you get the captain's key, go back to the basement and open the chests you were unable to pick earlier.
Visage of Moon Mask - in the basement level, there are a number of movable crates beneath a shelving unit. Move them and find a small switch along the wall. Frob it. It opens up a small niche above the shelving unit containing the mask.
I still haven't found the other one. 30 minutes of mindless frobbing has turned up nothing. There really should be a hint or two in the readables.

Ah, but there IS a hint. Have you read the book in the Hammer mage's bedroom?? :)

You should be a detective, Nightwalker. I'm such a taffer :p
This is a very nice mission. I'm not a fan of the BJ limit, but it really keeps the mission challenging. I may be having a change of heart.
Somehow I missed that book highlighting - I think I was too confused about the holy water.
Thanks Nightwalker,

can't figure out the clue in the book for the 2nd one ... ?a bigger clue?
Tannar on 1/12/2008 at 03:48
The clue is not terribly specific but it does tell you what room to be searching in. What is the nature of the mask that you are searching for? Is there anything in the book that sounds as if it might be related to a property of one of the masks?

Another very well done one, and clever (...searching for a key and finding 6 bottles).
Interestingly, I just happened to see the secret door for the Moon visage right off, and found it before I even knew I was supposed to be looking for it.
It was also fun to ghost, which I probably wouldn't have done without the no KO objectives.

Very nice mission. Ran into a problem. FYI:after lifting the captain's key and entering the door behind him I turned right into a room with 3 statues. I got 'stuck' when I touched the center one and had to reload.
Having fun.........Thank you.
